About  Kevin Cimei
Who Is Kevin Cimei?

I'm a Jersey native who has lived in Hunterdon County for 17 years.  My wife, Ina and I lived in the town of Clinton for the first six years.  For the past 11 years, we have called Clinton Township "home," and  it's been a wonderful place to raise our daughters, Katherine and Elizabeth.  As students of Round Valley School and Clinton Township Middle School, our daughters have thrived in the Township's excellent school system.

After graduating from Westfield High School, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University.

For the past 7 years, I've been employed as Director of Finance for Edy's Grand Ice Cream (a Nestle Company). Prior to joining Edy's, I held various management positions in finance and planning at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. in Allentown, PA.  As a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM), I have a solid grasp on controlling cost, planning and executing projects, and working through people to reach shared goals.

My Commitment to Community Service

Our Township is a great place to live due to its excellent schools, rural environment, and caring residents who work to better our community. These are some of the wonderful characteristics that drew Ina and me to Clinton Township.

In addition to government service, I've been a soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball coach, and served as a member of the Auditing Committee of Immaculate Conception Church for several years.

I serve our community because I care about Clinton Township and its people. For the past four years, I have served on nine committees, boards, and commissions, including Council President from 2006 to 2008.
